Standard Hub Menu Item Settings
Understand the common settings shared by all hub menu items when configuring a hub
All Hub Menu Items have a standard set of options.
When configuring a Community Hub or an Event Hub Community Hub, these options appear when first dragging a hub menu item into the mobile preview. These options also appear when editing a menu item already in the hub.

The standard Hub Menu Settings popup has the following options:

- Menu name: By default, the menu name is the same as the widget name, but you can change this. For example, you can change the default “Feed” to “Recent News” or similar.
- Menu icon: To change the default icon, click Change icon and choose from hundreds of predefined icons.
- Enable menu: By default, the menu will appear unless No is selected here. (This is how you would temporarily hide a menu, rather than delete it and recreate it.)
- Restriction: Click Access Rights to limit who can access this menu.
- Colorize with your school’s color: Choose Yes to use the school’s color on the menu icon selected above. This is the color set in Hub Settings.
- Display menu on: Choose whether the menu will appear on web, mobile, or both, depending on menu platform availability.
