Recommended User Attributes
Best practice fields to populate when adding or uploading users for better data segmentation
Whether adding users manually or uploading users from a spreadsheet, there are several fields we recommend populating. These attributes help with the segmenting and analysis made possible in the Dashboards and AI-Generated Insights.
These attributes can typically be exported from your Student Information System, and include:
- Month of entry
- Year of entry
- Month of graduation (if not supplied, the platform will calculate)
- Year of graduation (if not supplied, the platform will calculate)
- School/Program
- Degree
Some of these attributes can be assigned to users via User Tags (for the purpose of Access Rights Tags). But entering user attributes directly helps enable segmenting for AI insights.
