Draft events are one of the Events Lists.
Events on this list are either still in the creation phase, or are awaiting admin approval (if required). Draft events are not visible in the school calendar, and cannot be accessed by users.
Because Creating an Event is a multi-step process, and may require collaboration with other officers, you can click Save as Draft if you want to save your work and continue later.
This moves the event to the Draft list, with the status of Awaiting Event Creation. To continue working on it, you or other officers can click Edit Event.
Note: Any officer (with the correct permissions) can edit an event. But if an approval form is required and has been started or submitted, only the officer that started the form can edit it. (Officers of the group hosting the approval form can also edit the form.)
If your group allows non-officers to submit events Allowing Non-Officers to Submit Events, these events will also appear in the Drafts list until an officer edits and completes the event creation.
